Live Events España relies on Sony PTZ cameras to overcome the technical challenges of the VI World Conference on Constitutional Justice
Madrid, 12th December 2025 – In October, Madrid hosted the VI Congress of the World Conference on Constitutional Justice, an internationally renowned event that brought together leading figures from the legal and academic worlds. Event organisers, Live Events España, selected Sony PTZ cameras to overcome the technical challenges of the venue for the gala dinner to provide its prestigious attendees with an immersive audio visual experience.
As part of the agenda for VI Congress of the World Conference on Constitutional Justice, a gala dinner was held in the iconic Crystal Gallery of the Cibeles Palace, one of the city’s most unique and representative venues. The technical production of the event was handled by Live Events España, a company specialising in the design and management of audiovisual experiences. The challenge was to adapt a space of great architectural and aesthetic value to the demands of an evening event, with low lighting conditions. In addition, one of the highlights of the evening was the performance by international soprano Ainhoa Arteta, whose recital required flawless audiovisual capture.
Thanks to Sony’s technology and the Live Events España team, attendees enjoyed an immersive and uninterrupted experience, in keeping with the importance of the conference and the prestige of its participants. A high-precision automatic tracking system and real-time transmission were implemented, ensuring maximum quality thanks to four BRC-AM7 camera units and two ILME-FR7 cameras from Sony.
The technical requirements
The organisation was looking for a solution that combines image quality, colour consistency, and operational efficiency. After analysing the high-end PTZ cameras on the market, Live Events tested the performance of Sony’s PTZ cameras with integrated AI analysis and was fully satisfied with their accuracy. This feature allows for precise tracking of subjects with smooth, natural-looking framing, making it easier than ever to produce high-quality content.
“The integrated AI-powered auto-tracking is so smooth and seamless that you don’t notice any disruption in the movement. This eliminates human error and allows for more creativity in the narrative process,” says Serkan Karaosman, camera operator at Live Events Spain.
The decision to incorporate PTZ cameras was also based on resource optimization criteria. While handheld camcorders require one operator per unit, robotic cameras allow a single technician to control all four units purchased. In addition, these cameras are small and lightweight, making them easy to install almost anywhere, which was ideal for this event.
Sony as a technology partner
Sony provided a comprehensive system consisting of four BRC-AM7 units, two ILME-FR7 cameras with SELP28135 and SELP1635 lenses, two RM-IP500 controllers, and an ILME-FX6 camera equipped with SEL2470GM2 and SELP28135 lenses, used as a beauty cam.
Thanks to this configuration, Live Events Spain achieved accurate and smooth automatic tracking, eliminating human error and allowing for greater creativity in production. In addition, colour consistency between devices simplified post-processing and ensured a uniform aesthetic.
