Both lenses are characterised by a compact format that excludes the conventional red ring. They are constructed from LK Samyang’s proprietary high-strength engineering plastic, achieving a lightweight yet sturdy construction that feels premium. Additionally, the newly designed focus ring showcases enhanced patterns and textures, thereby improving user experience and handling efficiency.
AF 16mm F2.8 P FE — Compact Wide-Angle Lens for Everyday Use
At just 70.5mm long and 207g, this lightweight lens is ideal for on-the-go shooting. Its ultra-wide 16mm view, 0.12m minimum focus distance, and 0.33x semi-macro capability make it perfect for travel, landscapes, street, and close-ups. On APS-C cameras, it offers a 24mm equivalent view and up to 0.5x macro magnification for added versatility.
AF 85mm F1.8 P FE — Lightweight Telephoto for Stunning Portraits
With a bright F1.8 aperture and weighing just 272g, this 71.5mm lens is the lightest in its class (as of July 15, 2025, per LK Samyang research). Its advanced optical design—featuring three ED elements and a 9-blade rounded aperture— delivers sharp resolution and smooth, creamy bokeh, making it ideal for expressive, high-impact portraits.
